First time in Europe, I woke up to a sleety, freezing, cold February morning in Edinburgh. As my feet froze, I waited for the moment to come to me. Capturing two women with their umbrellas, I got the shot. Just as my camera was put into safety in the bag, a bus splashed drove by me with water. Freezing to the bone, I found my own shelter in a small coffee shop.

Photo Shown on Bottom Left : Golden Knowledge

A sculpture from Trinity College as a reminder that the pursuit of knowledge is a never ending process.

Push onward into nothing and Feel Free.

California is made of dried up dreams. Growing is a nearly impossible task. Finding a place to lay down roots, difficult. But those things that survive are beautiful. You must take only what you need and leave the rest behind.

This series attacks the contrast of the city life with the natural world and how I have come to find myself within it.

My photographs deal more with the reality California is facing in the drought while my art pieces are expressions of humanity within that world. Particularly my paintings deal with finding my sexuality and overcoming my wounds in a positive way. I threw myself into the California lifestyle not knowing what to expect. I lost myself and found myself again and in that process found I was fearless in my wildness. It challenged me to confront time and its onward movement.
